How to add Real Audio/Video files (ra, ram, rm, rmvb)?

Before the conversion starts, you need to add the real video/audio files from your storage-disk to Meda RM2MP3 Converter main window. The converter will converts these files into mp3 format. You can choose one of these way to add real video/audio files:

• Add one or more media files from a folder
  You can add one or more real media files from special folder, just click File->Insert Real Video/Audio files. In the file dialog-box, please use CTRL or SHIFT key to select one or more files
• Search from the special folder and add real media files
  The Meda RM2MP3 Converter contains a small search tool, use this tool you can search real media files from the special folder, the sub-folders will search automatically. You can click File->Insert Real Video/Audio files from folder and select a root folder for your real media files. The search tool will start after you click OK button and please wait until the searching finish
• Drag-and-drop real media files from Windows Explorer
  You also can drag-and-drop real media files from Windows Explorer. Please open your Windows Explorer and select real media files, after your selection is finished, please drop these files to the main window of Meda RM2MP3 Converter, these files will be added to the workspace automatically

How to convert Real Audio/Video files into mp3 format?

After you add files into workspace, please click Convert speed-button from tool-bar, the convert thread will be started automatically. By default, the output mp3 files will be stored to the folder same as source file. You can change the default output folder by opening Preferences window. Please wait until the convert thread finish. You also can press Cancel button in the convert window to cancel the convert thread.

How to change preferences?

To change preferences, please click File->Preferences to open the preferences window. In preferences window, you can change the default settings for output folder and mp3 encoder.

1. Output folder
   You can set the default output folder, by default, the output folder is same as the source file, you can choose "The following folder" and enter the output folder to set the default output. You also can click "Same as source file" to change the setting to default
2. MP3 encoder
   You can change the options for mp3 encoder here, and you also can select the quality of output mp3 files.
